Can I buy from Catering Supplies Depot if I am not a commercial user?
YES! Although Catering Supplies Depot is more geared toward the commercial foodservice industry, it is also open to the public. Many smallwares and light equipment can be used in either commercial or residential settings. Does free shipping apply to heavy and oversized items? Catering Supplies Depot does not charge freight for ANY order over $195 regardless of the size or weight of the product if being shipped within the continental United States. For items being shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico additional freight charges will apply. Can I return an item? Yes, items can be returned if they are not damaged. In some cases, shipping and restocking fees may apply. Do you accept PO 's or allow customers to purchase on credit? Unfortunately, Catering Supplies Depot can not extend credit to their customers. Items sold by Catering Supplies Depot come with the manufacturer's warranty. All warranty issues are handled directly with the manufacturer and their service agencies. Do you charge sales tax? Catering Supplies Depot only charges sales tax for Illinois orders; all other states are exempt from sales tax. Is there an extra shipping charge for items on backorder? No additional shipping charges will occur after you receive your final checkout total. Do you offer leasing options on equipment and supplies? No, Catering Supplies Depot does not offer leasing online. Where will Catering Supplies Depot ship to? Catering Supplies Depot will ship to anywhere in the United States. For orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico additional shipping charges will be applied. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to PO and APO/FPO boxes. What shipping methods do you use? Catering Supplies Depot ships most items via UPS Ground. Larger items may be shipped via freight line shipments. Our preferred freight carrier is ABF. Where is the shipping origin? Many items will ship from our warehouse in Warrenville, IL. Some items not in stock may be shipped directly from the manufacturer’s warehouse. After I place an order, how fast do you ship? Our goal at Catering Supplies Depot is to ship your items out to you as soon as possible. Items that are in stock in our warehouse will be shipped within 24 hours after the order is processed. Items not in stock will be shipped directly from the manufacturer. Do you sell used equipment? No, Catering Supplies Depot only sells new equipment. Can I buy quantities other than those shown on your website?
